I was born in Mount Airy, NC, but grew up (mostly) an hour away in Greensboro. That's where, when I was sixteen years old, I scored a sweet summer job playing games (and videotaping them) for Game Players magazine in the late 80s. I eventually became a writer for the magazine, and then Editor-In-Chief after the company moved to California. I later launched PSM: 100% Independent PlayStation Magazine, which is where I still work. Ironically, I've always been more of a Nintendo fan, but I've owned and played the hell out of just about every game console ever made.
